Devcon 2018 conference program announced
Last week, it was published the Alfresco Devcon 2018 conference program, that will celebrate in Lisbon next January. Many Alfresco experts of the community, customers, partners, and employees will participate on this fantastic event, around Alfresco related technologies.
The program looks really interesting and trendy, with topics such as production-ready Docker stacks, Alfresco deployments using Kubernetes, AWS use cases, SDK 3.0 setups, Alfresco Development Framework (ADF) experiences, Alfresco Process Services (APS) and Internet of Things, Blockchain or the always interesting Apache stuff (SOLR sharding, Manifold connectors or Shiro). Also, time to get in touch with Alfresco people and the major changes announced in Alfresco 6.
Finally, as little bit of shameless self promotion, we’ll take part of the event presenting a lighting talk titled,
«Alfresco monitoring setups with Nagios and ELK stack using JMX and OOTB Support tools»
where I’ll talk about monitoring setups in Alfresco with Nagios/Icinga and Elastic stack. Monitoring is an essential task for obtaining behaviour patterns of your Alfresco setup in production, specially when maintaining, sizing or even when having perfomance issues. Depending on your installation (Enterprise or Community), we will use JMX-based information or OOTB Support Tools webscripts, for generating alerts in Nagios/Icinga, and Kibana dashboards for system performance in the way of doing of Support Tools, but in a persisted way.
